The subsidiary of the Swiss pharmaceutical IBSA Institut Biochimique SA was established in 1995 under the name IBSA Pharma Kft in Hungary.
It started in 1995 with a product called Solmucoll.
In 1996, a drug was, which is crucial for the treatment of arthrosis even today.
1998 saw the launch of the Flector family - which has since expanded with new, innovative members.
In 1999, the IBSA registered human hormones essential for assisted reproduction programs.
In 2014, the portfolio expanded further thanks to another innovative procedure, the launch of IBSA's “pearl” technology for endocrinology - used for thyroid diseases - which allowed for a more precise, personalized treatment in Hungary.
In the dermatological therapeutic field, preparations of the ialuset family have become available.
IBSA Pharma is a regular participant in the largest domestic congresses, keeping abreast of the latest information in the industry.
